The WRV/WRS Report linkage enables you to link directly to a report in Web Report Viewer or Web Report Studio, via a custom url.
|
Works with both WRS/WRV
Now you can call the same report via a url and open it in either Web Report Studio or Web Report Viewer, depending on whether users have security to edit the report or not. All you do is change the application called in the url sting, from SASWebReportStudio to SASWebReportViewer, all the other functionality works the same.
Single Sign-On
We provide single sign-on from either the SAS Portal or SAS Strategic Performance Management Solution, ensuring users are authenticated and that they comply with the authorisation security rules you have defined in Metadata.
In addition we provide a 'Guest' login capability if you want to use a default userid/password for accessing the reports.
Pass Parameters to a Report
You can add parameters into the report url to enable you to open the report with the report parameters defaulted. For example you could pass a time period, a location or a default product.
You can even define a Stored process that determines what location the users is based in and pass that as a report parameter to provide personalisation based on each individual.
Open a Report Section
Web Reports Studio/Viewer enables you to create tabs within a report, which are referred to as sections. The WRS/WRV Report Invoker enables you to pass a section id as part of the url, enabling you to open a report on a certain tab.
